800 17th Street Spring ‘24 Update

With over 1,000 square feet of growing space, the garden on the 800 17th rooftop is one of the largest in the city, and the only one being irrigated with a massive rainwater cistern.  Garlic planted in the fall has been joined by over 125 kale, collard, and chard plants, and the addition of over 100 feet of flowers will be sure to bring some color to this rooftop and forage for the bees and pollinators!
