Why Urban Agriculture?
Our farms and gardens offer a unique amenity to buildings and provide a wide range of benefits.
-
A garden or farm and a harvest table for building tenants can give you points toward LEED, Fitwel, and WELL building certifications.
-
Gardens create conversation, connection, and enthusiasm. Weekly harvest tables also allow community members and building tenants to gather regularly and further benefit from the garden.
-
Set your building or development apart from others. This is a unique way to show prospective tenants that you value sustainability, innovation, and the health and well-being of your building and community members.
What We Do
-
Farm & Gardens
Up Top Acres designs, builds, maintains and activates urban farms and gardens. We work with commercial and residential properties to incorporate productive green space into the urban footprint, no matter the size.
-
Harvest
The fruits and vegetables grown at the gardens are distributed as an amenity to building tenants, or donated to local organizations working to increase food security.
-
Engagement
We offer a suite of event programming to further connect the building community to the garden, local food systems, and sustainable urban environments.
