3rd Annual Fall Festival

Come celebrate fall at the Farm at Halley Rise! From free kid-friendly scavenger hunts, to farm tours, to bouquet making stands, there’s something for everyone. You can enjoy live music from Shannon Bielski & Moonlight Drive, buy lunch from Two Smooth Dudes, and get your face painted by Swirls Face Painting! Bring your family, and enjoy a day filled with fun fall activities!

What to expect!

(Slightly) Spooky Scavenger Hunt (free!): Grab a scavenger hunt card and find the (slightly) spooky decorations set up throughout the Farm. Kids will get to explore different areas of the garden while checking boxes off on their scavenger hunt. There's even a prize for those who finish the hunt!

Pumpkin Painting Station (free, while supplies last): Get creative and decorate a small pumpkin from a local farm!

Face Painting Station (free!): Get your face painted by the talented artists from Swirls Face Painting.

Farm Tours (free!): We'll offer tours of the farm every hour from noon-2pm. Learn all about the Farm at Halley Rise from one of our knowledgeable farmers!

Bouquet Making (free, while supplies last!): Try your hand at flower arranging! An Up Top Acres farmer will give you tips and tricks for arranging a beautiful bouquet to bring home!

Lawn Games: Come play corn hole, giant jenga, and giant connect-four!

Lunch: Grab lunch from the delicious food truck, Two Smooth Dudes!

Join us for a delightful evening of creativity and relaxation at our DIY Pressed Flower Craft Night! Each guest will get to create a decorative jar (can be used as a candle holder, decoration or more) using pressed flowers from the farm.

Our farmer will discuss the different types of pressed flowers, and give tips for pressing your own flowers at home. Feel free to bring food + drink to enjoy while you craft!

We'll have a variety of dried flowers from the farm, and bud vases so that guests can arrange dried flower bouqets to bring home. Garden Tasting Tour and Preserving the Harvest

Join us for an in-depth farm tour, including taste tests of farm's bounty! An Up Top Acres farmer will discuss the different crops in the garden, and provide tips for harvest. Additionally we'll discuss methods to preserve the harvest such as pickling, canning and drying.

Each guest will get to pick a bag of produce to bring home with them!

2nd Annual Beer in the Garden

Lost Rhino is happy to partner with Up Top Acres and The Farm at Halley Rise to bring back Beer in the Garden! Bring friends and family out to the farm for an afternoon of craft beer, live music, bouquet-making, and more!

This will be a ticketed event. Everyone over the age of 21 will need to purchase a ticket to enter the event, and guests under the age of 21 must register. Paid ticket includes:

  • Exclusive Beer in the Garden pint glass

  • Flower bouquet (while supplies last)

  • Lost Rhino rootbeer (while supplies last)

  • $ 5 donation to our non-profit partner, Cornerstones

Note: If you are over the age of 21 and do not buy a ticket, you will not receive a wristband and therefore will not be able to purchase beer at the event or have access to any of the items listed above.

What to expect:

Ticketing and Check-In: All attendees will need to check in and show proof of ticket at the entrance. 21+ attendees will need to show ID.

Drinks: Lost Rhino will have two collaboration and two flagship beers for purchase. Lost Rhino rootbeer will be available for all attendees as well.

Food: Fat Pete's BBQ Food Truck will be on-site selling lunch.

L ive Music: Enjoy the bluegrass tunes from Rock Creek Revival!

Bouquet Making: Try your hand at flower arranging! An Up Top Acres farmer will give you tips and tricks for arranging a beautiful bouquet to bring home!

To note: There will be a photographer onsite capturing photos of Beer in the Garden. By attending this event, you agree to appear in photos that may be used on The Farm at Halley Rise social media channels, the Halley Rise website and in future emails promoting the event.
