FRIT Pike & Rose Spring ‘24 Update

The Farm on Pike and Rose continues to be a beautiful and bountiful space.  Curious eyes can observe numerous annual flowers that have volunteered themselves in the walking rows- with the bachelor button and California poppies stealing the show.  The flowers are joined by sage, lavender, rosemary, thyme, rue, oregano, and anise, with the newly planted kale, collards, and chard quickly filling in.  The vast majority of the farm has been converted into a clover field, ensuring bees and other pollinators have fodder and habitat year-round, making the whole farm a complete ecological haven.
