McPherson Garden Summer ‘24 Update

The McPherson Garden is lovingly nicknamed the “Grow Bag Garden”, and with 60 new grow bags this season, the Harvest Table has never been fuller! Kale has been the real star of the show this season, thriving despite the heat and lack of rain. This spring saw the debut of our “Crop of the Month” when we harvested head lettuce and continued with beets, turnips, and radishes. The first eggplants of the growing season have been harvested, and the sweet carmen peppers are coming soon! And… who doesn’t love that mint?!
