GREEN ROOF GARDEN

The APTA Garden

Opened in April of 2024, The APTA Garden is integrated into the existing planters on the rooftop patio. The garden is planted with greens and veggies such as kale, peppers, eggplant, and collard greens and self-pick herbs such as thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Starting in June, the garden provides fresh veggies at the bi-weekly harvest tables for building tenants to take home and enjoy!

2024 Recap

This season the garden-to-table produce for building tenants included:

  • 220 bunches of kale

  • 169 bunches of chard

  • 180 bunches of collards

  • 8 pounds of basil

  • 39 bunches of scallions

  • 45 bunches of radishes

  • 55 pounds of peppers

  • 100 pounds of eggplant

  • 63 bunches of thyme

  • 56 bunches of rosemary

  • 56 bunches of sage

  • 24 bunches of oregano

  • 36 bunches of mint
