655 New York Garden Summer Update ‘24
The Urban Garden at 655 New York Avenue has seen excellent growth this summer, despite record heat and a marked lack of rain. In an effort to increase tenant accessibility to the vegetables, all crop growth has been limited to the perimeter of the beds, ensuring no pepper, eggplant, or tomato harvest requires stepping off the pavers. Regular visits to the farm are a must- the zucchini on the western-most edge are known to balloon in size overnight if the ideal harvest window is missed!
