District Center Garden Summer Update ‘24

The garden at District Center is producing a bountiful crop of herbs and vegetables for the ever-popular harvest table each week. Early season harvest table staples like kale, collards and chard are now being joined by our heat-loving crops like cucumbers, zucchini and eggplant, with peppers soon to follow. Meanwhile the milkweed, marigolds, hyssop and other flowering natives are bringing countless pollinators and other beneficial insects to the beautiful oasis right in the middle of the city!
