FRIT Pike & Rose Farm Summer Update ‘24
The Farm at Pike and Rose has seen great growth this season! Welcoming to the farm we have new perennial herbs like lemon balm, rosemary, and fennel, all of which are joining the established rows of chives, thyme, lavender, and sage. Plenty of native flowers draw in pollinators and beneficial insects, helping us to minimize our use of sprays. Happily, there has been success in replanting annual favorites like kale, eggplant, and peppers after birds made lunch of our first seedlings. The birds have to eat, and even they know the best food in town is found Up Top.
