1500 K Street Garden

Installed in March of 2025, this rooftop garden converted previously unused ballasted rooftop space into a growing space bringing food, biodiversity, and beauty to the building community and surrounding environment. This urban large urban garden is 320 feet worth of raised beds with rows on both the north and east sides of the building. Starting in April, Up Top Acres farmers will be planting vegetables such as kale, cucumbers, and peppers and culinary herbs such as rosemary, basil, and thyme for building tenants to take home and enjoy!
