655 K Street Garden

Installed in March of 2025, this rooftop garden converted traditional sedum green roof into a growing space bringing food, biodiversity, and beauty to the building community and surrounding environment. The urban garden consists of a 200-foot raised bed vegetable garden on the north & east sides of the building and 100-foot perennial bee & butterfly garden along the southern-facing penthouse windows. Starting in April, Up Top Acres farmers will be planting vegetables and herbs such as kale, cucumbers, and basil and pollinator’s like rubekia, asters, and echinacea. Get ready for harvest in June!
